Jordanian Senate approves budget
Jordan, Economics, 1/26/1998
Jordanian Upper House unanimously approved the general budget for 1998. The budget is expected to be raised to the Royal Divan to be ratified and take effect. Total expenditures are JD 1987 million, total income is JD 1950 million, leaving a deficit of JD 37 million.
