More than fifty Iraqi houses inspected in Amman
Jordan-Iraq, Local, 1/24/1998

Specialized Jordanian security apparatus continued investigations related to the mass killings which took place in Jordanian capital last week. 8 people -- 6 Iraqis and 2 Egyptians -- were assassinated.

Security forces inspected more than 50 houses belonging to Iraqis living in Amman. The investigation proved that the criminal group was highly organized and trained to commit such crimes, a reliable source stated.

Security apparatus recognized ten Iraqis who continuously visited the home of Sami George, one of the victims, in the five days before the crime was committed, the same source said. Their fingerprints are now being compared to those previously found at the site of the crime, he says.

Criminal court prosecutor is scheduled to listen to the Greek woman who was wounded during the brutal attack.
