A Kuwaiti - Iraqi popular committee replying Saddam Husseins' allegation

The formation of a Kuwaiti - Iraqi popular committee, which aims at coordinating and exchanging information to reply to Saddam Hussein's allegations against the Kuwaiti and the Iraqi opposition, was announced in Kuwait.
Ibrahim Hamoudi, advisor to the chairman of the High Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq, emphasized the importance of the committee's role in challenging to Saddam Hussein.
Hamoudi said Mohammed Baqer El-Hakim, the chairman of the high council, did not demand the opening of a political bureau for the council in the Kuwaiti capital during his recent visit to Kuwait.
He also said, "We did not demand that from the Kuwaiti government, because we consider Kuwait our second country."
