Moroccan-Spanish talks on fighting smuggling successful

Spanish minister of the Interior Jaime Mayor Oreja on Thursday said he held positive talks with Moroccan officials concerning drug trafficking and illegal immigration.
In a press conference he held with his Moroccan counterpart, Idris al-Basri, Oreja described cooperation between Morocco and Spain as excellent, "We study means to develop bilateral cooperation to fight drug traffickers."
"Spain accommodates 600,000 illegal immigrants," the Spanish minister said during his 24-hour visit to Rabat.
