OIC chief to mediate on Algerian crisis

Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Kamal Kharazi on Wednesday spoke on the telephone with the Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, Ezzedine al-Iraqi.
On behalf of the Iranian president, who is the current chairman of the OIC, Kharazi asked al-Iraqi to head to Algiers to help in finding a solution for the Algerian crisis, SANA reported. Al-Iraqi said he will go to Algeria, hoping he will help end the acts of violence the Algerian people suffer.
