Egypt, Business, 1/22/1998
Egyptian Minister of Economy Dr.Youssef Butros Ghali stated that it was decided to exempt the Egyptian exporters who export to Arab markets of 50% of the fees of the Egyptian Company for Insuring Exports.
The exporters will only pay the actual fees paid to the foreign countries in order to reduce financial burdens and increase the competitive capability of the Egyptian goods in the Arab markets.
He added that this decision comes within the attempt to encourage the exporters to benefit from the incentives made available through the Arab free trade zone which was put into effect as of January 1.
