King Hussein meets with King Fahd

King Hussein of Jordan met with King Fahd of Saudi Arabia in the Holy city of Mecca yesterday night. The two kings reviewed bilateral relations between their countries and prospects for future joint cooperation.
Upon the meeting, they made an overall evaluation of recent regional events, particularly those affecting the Middle East peace process. The two sides reaffirmed their support of the Palestinians.
Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz attended the meeting amongst other Saudi officials and the Jordanian Prime Minister Abdul-Salam al-Majali.
