Mubark receives message from Yemeni president

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak received a communique from Yemeni President Ali Abd El-Allah Saleh concerning bilateral relations between Egypt and Yemen and the efforts exerted to develop and support these relations according to the resolutions of joint committee that was recently held in Sanaa between the two countries.

Yemeni ambassador Ahmed Lokman said he delivered this message to the Egyptian foreign minister.

The ambassador said there is a joint cooperation between the security bodies of the both countries and a delegation headed by the Yemeni interior minister's deputy is to visit Cairo soon to discuss cooperation and coordination in security issues between the countries' interior ministries.

The ambassador also said there is great stability in Yemen, and the government has procedures in place to prevent the kidnapping incidents that have taken place there.
