No Cabinet reshuffle, Hariri says
Lebanon, Politics, 1/21/1998
Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri on Monday stressed that there is no intention to make a governmental change or reshuffling in the Lebanese Cabinet immediately.
In a speech he made at an Iftar banquet held Monday night, Hariri noted two big events in Lebanon for 1998: the municipal elections next spring and the Presidential elections by the end of summer, the report said.
Today, the Lebanese Parliament held a meeting chaired by Speaker Nabih Berri and attended by the prime minister and his ministers. Parliament is expected to discuss the state's 1998 general budget for three straight days.
