Identity Committee registered 25,000 Saharans

Sources in the Minoroso in Al Oyoon Area said that the number of people of Sahara-origin registered since the beginning of the registration process during August, 1994 exceeded 25,000.
The sources stated that the number of Saharan-origin people who were registered since the resumption of the registration process last month reached 15,000 in the offices of Al Oyoon, Al Samara, Tantan, and Kleim in addition to the two offices in the Tendof Camps in the Algerian southeast.
The final number of those who were registered will not be known before the end of the identification process in May.
