Arab water conference in Cairo during April

Egypt has invited more than 30 Arab and foreign countries and a number of international organizations working in water resources to attend the first Arab conference on water on April 26-27.
The two-day conference will discuss the technology of water resource management and distribution, means of recycling drainage and sewage water to be used for irrigation purposes, and strategies for desalinating water, said Egypt's minister of public and water resources, Dr. Mahmod Abozid.
An exhibition on the Arab water industry will be organized on the sidelines of the conference with the participation of 250 firms, Akhbar al-Youm daily reported.
