Algeria rejects Lebanon initiative

Algeria rejected Lebanese efforts to form an Arab committee aimed at ending the Algerian massacres, wire reports said. The Algerian government has resisted international intervention into what it considers to be an internal matter, although it has authorized a visit by a delegation from the European Union.
