Medical team visits Iraq

Egyptian Minister of Health Dr. Ismail Salaam has agreed to send a medical team to Iraq soon to perform a number of surgeries on Iraqi patients unable to travel abroad for treatment because of UN sanctions.
Chief of the interest section in Iraq, ambassador Sherif Riham, said the team would include a number of doctors of various specializations and was expected to leave for Iraq in March.
It will be the second time an Egyptian medical team will visit Iraq and perform surgeries there. The first time was in December, Al-Ahrar daily reported.
