Israel obstruct Palestinian mail - new phone code

Israel is deliberately obstructing Palestinian mail, and the Palestinian government has prepared a plan to deliver mail among rural Palestinian areas with a minimum of disruption on the part of Israel, Palestinian Minister of Communications Imad Falouji said Wednesday.
Falouji added that the Palestinian international telephone code ³970² that was used until 1948 was reserved by the International Communications Organization in Geneva, and a local telephone code (Gaza 072, central West Bank 022 and northern West Bank 092) will be implemented in order to differentiate between the Palestinian and Israeli systems. He continued, the three year plan will invest US $27 million for the phone system's development.
