King Fahd calls for Muslim solidarity

King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday called upon Muslims to maintain cooperation, solidarity and the unity of their ranks to foil enemy schemes.
In a statement following the meeting of the Saudi Cabinet Tuesday night, Saudi Information Minister Fuad al-Farisi said that the Saudi Cabinet, chaired by King Fahd, discussed recent developments on the Arab, Islamic and international arenas and showed satisfaction over the results of the 15th session of the council of the Arab ministers of the Interior recently held in Tunisia.
He stressed that the unanimous consent of the Arab ministers of the Interior on the draft bill to fight terrorism would consolidate cooperation among Arab states to combat and eliminate all forms of terrorism, to protect Arab states against its grave consequences.
The Saudi information minister said the cabinet reiterated the Saudi stand which aims at fighting crime to preserve stability in the Arab states and preserve their achievements.
