Cairo: 6% inflation rate in Egypt

Kamal El-Ganzouri, the Egyptian prime minister, said the economic reform program succeeded in reducing Egypt's inflation rate to 6% with the goal of bringing it down to 5% by the end of this year after having peaked at 9.6% in 1994.
