Private sector in Dubai is worth $16.2 billion

Dubai announced that the production of its private sector establishments is worth $16.2 billion a year. The commercial sector contributed 48%, the construction sector contributed 13%, the industrial sector 10%, the transportation sector 9.03%, the real estate and business services 5.29% while the other sectors contributed 12.71%.
The number of the private sector establishments is 26,470, in which .05 of the total population work, 7% of those workers are Arabs while 92.5 are non-Arab workers. Male workers represent 93.9% of total manpower.
