More Iraqi - Egyptian trade coming

An Egyptian delegation will visit Iraq next month to discuss mutual cooperation. Gala Ghourab, chairman of the holding company for medicines, said that an Iraqi delegation will visit Cairo next week to discuss new agreements with Egyptian companies within the relationship between the two countries.
An Egyptian official source said that commercial cooperation with Iraq had witnessed remarkable development, stating that total transactions made by Egyptian companies with Iraq in the previous two phases of the oil-for-food deal were about $120 million, including food and medicines.
Meanwhile, Egypt appointed Ahmed Hassan as commercial advisor to a delegation to look after the Egyptian commercial interests in Iraq and to facilitate communications between companies and governments in the countries.
