Rescheduling Jordanian debts to Japan

Jordan and Japan signed an agreement to reschedule payment of a portion of Jordanian debts to Japan, worth $65 million.
This agreement came in fulfillment of the resolutions of the May 1997 meeting of the Club of Paris. Total Jordanian debts to Japan are estimated at $1.7 billion.
