Egyptian oil production declines

The monthly economic report issued by the Information Center of the Egyptian Cabinet showed that Egyptian oil production declined by about 2.3% during the first 11 months last year, as it reached 38.5 tons compared to 39.42 million tons during the same period in the year before. It also showed that gas production decreased by about 4%.

Oil exports declined by 10.7% during the first 11 months of last year, to $1.341 billion compared to $1.502 billion during the same period in the year before.

Natural gas production during the first 11 months of last year was 9.647 million tons compared to 9.685 during the same period of the year before.

The volume consumed by the local market was 8.847 million tons compared to 8.635 million tons during the year before, an increase of 2.4%.
