Cairo chosen for banking conferences

The Arab Academy for the Financial and Banking Sciences (AAFBS) has decided to hold more than a third of its training programs during the current year in Cairo in a step to promote the tourist sector in Egypt.
The head of the AAFBS, Mostafa Hadeib, stated that the academy will hold 50 training programs during the current year, 18 of which will be held in Egypt, 17 in Cairo and one in Alexandria.
The training programs will focus on modern tenchniques for documentation, inspection, analysis and evaluation of banking systems.
Dr. Hadeib said the academy will hold its eighth annual conference next November in Cairo.
Meanwhile, the academy is preparing a visit by a US delegation that consists of the chairmen of the 10 biggest US banks to Egypt and 6 other Arab countries.
