West Bank full of Israeli stolen cars?

The deputy chief of the Palestinian police, Brigadier General Abdel Moati Al Saba'wy, stated that there are organized gangs stealing cars in the Palestinian-controlled territories. A spokesman from the Israeli Insurance Companies Federation announced an increase in insurance fees on private cars as a result of the high rate of car theft in Israel.
The Israeli police spokesman said that a car is stolen each 6 minutes in Israel, which is then smuggled to the territories under the control of the Palestinians.
Meanwhile, Jericho's chief of police, Tarek Zeid, refuted the Israeli accusation that some Palestinians are involved in the car thefts, saying that the areas in which the stolen cars are hidden are under Israeli control.
