American delegation in Damascus next Wednesday

Diplomatic sources said that US Senator Daniel Graham will join the American Arab delegation which will visit Damascus on January 17.
The delegation will meet with Syrian President Hafez al-Assad and Foreign Minister Farouk al-Sharaa.
President Assad recently met with US Senator Arlen Specter, the in the presence of Sharaa and the US ambassador in Syria, Christopher Ross.
Specter conveyed a message the to the Syrian president on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's ideas.
