Jordanian tourists guides refuse to escort Israeli counterparts

Numerous Jordanian tourist guides refused an invitation extended by a Jordanian tourist company to take part in a field trip with Israeli guides covering Dana, the Dead Sea and Wadi al-Mujib, SANA reported.
The Kuwaiti daily al-Rai al-Am said the Jordanian tourist guides' refusal was over fears the trip to mark the beginning of successive Israeli training courses which in the long-run help the Israelis forge history, citing the story of an Israeli tour guide who gave misinformation about the history of al-Karak castle, a matter which provoked a Jordanian counterpart to lodge a written complaint with sides concerned.
