Israel to renovate Turkish warplanes

Turkey on Wednesday offered a US $75 million contract to renovate 48 F-15 warplanes to Israel.
In a press conference held in Ankara on Wednesday Turkey's Defense Ministry said that a contract to modernize the Turkish warplanes was offered to an Israel-Singapore joint company. He added that the renovation will cover electronic equipment and will take place in Askitchir, in west-central Turkey.
Israel is implementing a similar contract with Turkey to renovate Turkish F-4 planes at a cost of US $630 million. SANA reported.
