Egyptian cinematographers bring medicine to Iraqi children

Egyptian filmmaker Youssef Shahin and actor Khaled al- Nabawi arrived in Baghdad on Sunday leading an Egyptian delegation with humanitarian aid for Iraqi children.
The 30- member delegation brought 2.5 tons of medicines at a cost of US $30,000 donated by Egyptian businessmen and pharmacists, according to an AP report. The delegation also comprises well-known Egyptian writer Nawal al-Sadawi, Syrian actress Raghda,who said that the group came for the Iraqi children, and several lawyers, doctors and artists.
"Arabs are but one nation, a slogan raised by President Abdul Nasser, which we still pursue," said Shahin in an arrival statement to Baghdad.
The delegation will also visit hospitals and the civil sites which were destroyed in the Gulf War.
The delegation carries the signature of million Egyptians who expressed their support for Iraq.
