Louis Farrakhan: Clinton is surrounded with agents of Israel
Libya, Politics, 12/26/1997

Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the US based Nation of Islam, condemned American foreign policy in the Middle East and said that President Clinton is surrounded by counselors "who work as agents for Israel."

Farrakhan criticized his country's policy toward Libya, adding "I do not agree with my country's policy and I am ready to make sacrifices to tell the truth."

Earlier in the week, the US State Department stated that " It was really stupefying timing" of Farrakhan to visit Libya at this time of the anniversary of the downing of Pan Am 103, and that Farrakhan should join in calling on Libya to comply with UN Security
Council resolutions.

Farrakhan said that the US is not a fair partner in the peace process in Middle East, stating that it is strongly biased towards Israel. Farrakhan has repeatedly called on the US government to lift the sanctions imposed on Libya and Iraq, calling them barbaric and representing terrorists acts against those nations for the harm they do to citizens.
