Moussa: Iran's involvement in Luxor incident groundless
Egypt, Politics, 12/26/1997
Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa on Thursday refuted claims raised by Israel on Iran's involvement in the terrorist attack that occurred in Luxor last November.
In press statements he made on Thursday the Egyptian minister said reports linking Iran to the attack are groundless.
Meanwhile, Iran asserted that Zionist media circles are behind attempts to associate its name with terrorism. The spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Dr. Mahmoud Muhammadi, said on Thursday that the recent improvements in relations between Iran and Arab states angered these circles (refers to Zionist) and raised their concern.
