$600 million from Saudi Arabia to Lebanon

The Lebanese daily al-Nahar reported that well-informed sources told it Lebanon will shortly receive US $600 million as a donation from Saudi Arabia to help back up the country's finances and economy. The sources added that statements made by Lebanese Premier Rafik al-Hariri about "a happy surprise" following his visit to Saudi Arabia two weeks before, meant the ($600 million US).
