Israel bombards south Lebanon houses, violates April Understanding

Once again Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday violated the April Understanding agreement in its repeated aggression against civilians of villages adjacent to the occupied part of South Lebanon. One Lebanese citizen from al-Jumijmei village, Abbas Ghazzeh, 30, died as a result.
In retaliation, the Lebanese national resistance attacked an Israeli patrol in the surroundings of Haula positions and scored direct hits. Lebanese security sources said that the Israeli artillery shelled several villages and towns in al-Nabatieh area and al-Tuffah district. The shelling, which came from al-Zafateh and al-Aishei positions, covered the towns of Shalra, Majdal Sulom, Farroun, al-Ghandouria, al-Jumijmei in al-Nabatieh area.
The Israeli bombardment also targeted Wadu al-Salouki, al-Wadi al-Akhdar, the course of al-Litani river, Mleita and al-Jabal al-Rafi' in al-Tuffah district Meantime, the Israeli occupation army has broken into several houses in the town of Shabaa in the Eastern sector of the South Lebanon and arrested Lebanese citizen Marwan Kanaan and his wife Houda.
