A member of the Iraqi leadership council visits Sudan

Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Hamza al-Zubaydi arrived at El-Khartoum within his tour of Arab countries as Saddam Hussein's special envoy on an official visit to Sudan.
Al-Zubaydi stated after his arrival that he will deliver a message from President Hussein to the Sudanese president Omar El-Bashir. He said that the message is important as it relates ro the latest developments concerning relations between Iraq and the UN Security Council and the special committee inspecting for Iraqi weapons of mass destruction.
