Islamic Bank center in UAE

The Islamic Bank for Development has signed a contract providing for establishing an agricultural center in the United Arab Emirates at a cost of 12.7 million dirham.
The IBD said the contract covers the center's headquarters, greenhouses and cooling units, adding that some US $22 million was allotted to build the center and operate it for a period of ten years with the objective of transferring and applying the technology for salt water uses and to hold field experiments on the plantation of salt-resistant crops.
