Syrian Journalists Union holds second session

The Syrian Journalists Union council on Monday held the fourth meeting of its second session and the participants discussed and endorsed the report submitted by the executive bureau.
Afternoon deliberations discussed the draft budget for 1998 and approved it. Syrian information Minister Muhammad Salman, who attended the meeting, made a comprehensive political review in which he talked about latest developments on the Arab and international arenas.
