The Housing Ministry has finalized a new layout for a comprehensive development plan for Abusimbel city southern Egypt in a bid to capitalize on its development potential.
The development drive in the city is aimed at creating 16,000 jobs in various fields and create new communities accommodating around 51,000 by the year 2017, said Minister of Housing Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Soliman.
According to the new plan, the city's total area will increase from 200 feddans to 1600 feddans, Al-Jumhorya daily said.
