Qurei': Israeli security maps aim to devour Palestinian lands

Palestinian Legislative Council Speaker Ahmad Qureią denied reports in the Israeli press saying that he had met with Israeli Minister of National Infrastructure Ariel Sharon and that he expressed his acceptance of Israel's security claims in the West Bank.
Qurei' said that such propaganda "reflects the incompetence facing the side that tries to evade real responsibilities and attempts to ignore reality." He added that the Palestinians understand the security needs of Israel, but stressed that Palestinians can never accept the security maps that aim to eat up Palestinian lands.
