Efforts to boost Mexican-Syrian economic relations

A Mexican economic mission will visit Syria next spring and a delegation of Syrian businessmen will visit Mexico next autumn to explore new opportunities for developing joint cooperation in different areas, and reinforce links with the Arab community, according to the honorary consul of Mexico City in Damascus Saeb Nahas.
During his recent visit to Mexico, Nahas reviewed with Mexican businessmen means of developing relations between the two countries to serve common interests.
Mexico will take part in the Damascus International Fair starting next year with a separate pavilion and Mexican export companies will use Syria's free areas as regional centers to store goods intended for regional markets.
