Jordan will export $31 million to Iraq

The Jordanian Ministry of Industry reported that new contracts have been ratified by the UN Security Council Sanctions Committee according to which Jordan is allowed to export goods worth US $31,062,452 through 25 contracts between the Iraqi government and Jordanian companies.
During the two phases of the oil-for-food deal between Iraq and the UN, Jordanian companies have exported materials worth US $173,904,050.
The food and other necessities that would be exported include: cooking oil US $19,683,000; detergents US $4,464,000; salt US $855,000; water pumps US $1,497,300; plastic sacks US $795,000 and other commodities.
