El-Mufti takes science award

Famed Egyptian professor Dr. Mostafa El-Mufti, from Alexandria University's faculty of science, was recently granted a key award by a Pakistani committee for scientific and technical cooperation.
Dr. El-Mufti received the award last Tuesday from Pakistan's interim president, Wassim Segad, during the closing session of the committee's annual convention which was attended by delegations from 40 countries.
The Egyptian scientist was granted the award in recognition to his research paper on the causes of tumors, Al-Ahrar daily said.
