Saudi - Egypt naval drills
Egypt-Saudi Arabia, Military, 12/16/1997
Egypt and Saudi Navy forces ended a week of joint exercises off the Red Sea eastern shore.
The exercises were part of an annual exercise program meant to boost military cooperation between the two countries.
This year's exercises involved mock combat, rescue operations, fire fighting, repair of breakdowns, protection for fleets and logistics, Al-Gomhoria daily said.
