US donor organization's vice president visits Egypt today

The US donor organization's vice president Sally Shulton arrives in Cairo today on a five-day visit to Egypt.
During her stay, she will meet minister of agriculture Yousef Wali, education minister Hussein Kamel Bahaa El-Din, and the deputy foreign minister for South Africa affairs.
The guest will address Egyptian officials' means of boosting Egyptian-U.S relations. She will also expound the organization's activity in Egypt.
Meanwhile, the head of the international development administration of north and west Africa in England, Simon Rai, accompanied by Janet Hoko, the head of the British donors program to Egypt, arrived in Cairo for talks with Minister of Public Work's Sector Atef Ebied, Minister of Environment Nadia Makram Ebeid, and head of the social development fund Mr. Hussein El-Gammal.
Official sources in the British embassy in Egypt said the talks will deal with projects financed by the British donors program in Egypt.
The sources said the estimated value of the program reaches about five million pounds sterling ($8.2 million US) to be used to fund banking reform programs, power supplies, training and environmental protection.
