The dead man is not waiting anymore

A compromise was reached Friday between the two families, the Muslim and the Jewish, by which Shaukat Qouza'a, the 56-year-old man from Haifa, will be buried in the edge of the Islamic cemetery in Haifa in a place adjacent to the nearby Jewish cemetery. The High Court judges who convened on Friday admitted they could not reach a decision and preferred a compromise acceptable to both families be reached.
The two families agreed that a special Jewish ceremonial prayer takes place first and then an Islamic religious ceremony right before his burial.
