Economic Cooperation Between Libya and China

A Chinese economic delegation which is headed by the Chinese undersecretary of Internal Trade and International Cooperation Leo Chan Chae is currently in Libya. The discussions between the two countries will focus on boosting and strengthening the bilateral relations in the economic and trade fields.

The Chinese Undersecretary confirmed that China is helping the Libyan people in facing the sanctions imposed on Libya. He added that his country strongly opposes those procedures and the resulting effects as they harm the Libyan people itself.

Chae lauded the relations between the two countries and confirmed that China is keen on boosting its relations with Libya in all fields especially in the economic and trade fields in a way that serves the goals of the two friendly countries.
