Israeli extremists attack Sourboune
Palestine-Israel, International, 12/9/1997
Israeli extremists from the Kakh movement threw tear-gas bombs and chanted anti-Arab slogans during a symposium held on Saturday in Sorbonne University in Paris on the partition of Palestine.
Circulars bearing the signature of Kahana were found at the site on which was written "death for Arabs." Some 17 out of the 200 people who attended the symposium received emergency aid because of the gas.
The symposium which was organized by the work committee for the sake of genuine peace in the Middle East, was chaired by former French Foreign Minister Claude Cheyssoun.
