Art used in Moroccan psychological therapy

Work on the Art Complex, which is to be used for the treatment of the adolescents who suffer from psychological problems, has been finished. The complex is run by artist Mohamed Al Qasemy and psychiatrist Galil Bananio.
The project aims to combine the arts with psychology in dealing with psychiatric problems.
The Art Complex contains the Psychological Therapy Center, inaugurated in 1992 through a cooperation program with the European Union to combat drug addiction.
This is considered the first center of its kind in Morocco and Africa. It receives young men who are not suffering from particular psychological problems but who are usually undergoing crises due to failed relations with parents and teachers.
