Resistance acts continue in south Lebanon
Lebanon-Israel, Military, 12/4/1997

Israeli occupation forces bombarded a number of areas and towns close to occupied south Lebanon.

Lebanese security sources said the shelling covered the woods of al-Qatrani area in the central sector. The sources stated that Israeli helicopters mopped up with machine-guns the districts surrounding Kafr Houneh and Midon towns in the western Bekaa.

The Lebanese national resistance forces machine-gunned and rocketed the Israeli occupation position in the Klab area, scoring direct hits.

Earlier in the day the resistance carried out a number of operations against the Israeli occupation and Lahd's militia in south Lebanon and the western Bekaa.

In a statement, the resistance said one of its groups attacked a Lahd's Militia gathering at the Zimraya position. Another group of resistance men had ambushed an Israeli patrol near the Beaufort position, scoring direct hits.
