Saudi Arabia builds headquarters for Islamic Conference Organization

The secretary-general of the Organization for the Islamic Conference, Dr. Ez El Din Al Iraqi, stated that he received a message from Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al Faisal which contained the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Shrines, King Fahd Bin Abdel Aziz, to build the permanent headquarters of the secretariat-general of the organization and to rent a temporary premises for the organization until the new headquarters are complete.

The Saudi foreign minister informed the secretary general of the approval as soon as it was issued. The approval also includes buying a house for the secretary general. The executive bodies in Saudi Arabia were instructed to act in accordance with the approval.

The royal approval was issued in response to a request submitted by Dr. Al Iraqi to King Fahd.
