Breaking News: Emergency meeting between Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Qatar yields positive results

ArabicNews.com has learned that a meeting between Egypt , Saudi Arabia and Qatar, has taken place at the highest governmental levels.

This unexpected meeting which was preceded by an emergency trip, by Egypt's foreign minister Amr Moussa to Saudi Arabia yesterday, in with ArabicNews.com reported about the negotiations taken place, as a result of Saudi mediation efforts to resolve the on-going dispute between Egypt and Qatar that was exacerbated as a result of the MENA conference in Qatar recently.

ArabicNews.com has obtained exclusive information, that prior to the meeting, President Mubarak had told King Fahd, that he would not meet with Qatar's Emir, unless there was a formal apology by the Emir for negative statements made by Qatar, and the foreign minister of Qatar against Egypt.

Qata's Emir, Hamad Bin Khalifa al Thani, apologized to President Hosni Mubarak. Following the apology by the Emir of Qatar, President Mubarak, agreed to meet Qatar's Emir in Saudi Arabia today in the presence of King Fahd where the reconciliation took place and was concluded successfully.

This reconciliation has been the result of a great effort of Saudi Arabia's King Fahd, and Saudi quite diplomacy that emphasized healing Arab differences.

Saudi Arabia once again, after being a strong voice that stressed that the US's dealings with Iraq, as a result of the recent conflict with the UN, must be settled in a diplomatic manner and without the use of force, succeeded in averting another crisis.
