Arafat: we want full UN membership

Palestinian President Yasser Arafat called on the United Nations to give his self-rule authority full membership in the international body, Al Gomhoria daily reported. "Such complete participation will reinforce our sincere efforts to establish a comprehensive and just peace in the Middle East," Arafat said.
