Two pro-Israeli militiamen wounded

Two pro-Israeli militiamen were wounded on Monday when a roadside bomb went off near their patrol in Israel's South Lebanon occupation zone, a militia security source said.

In Beirut, the Hizbullah movement claimed responsibility for the attack, which brought to 60 the number of SLA militiamen wounded since the beginning of the year. Twenty one militiamen have been killed in the same period.

Meanwhile, Lebanese resistance forces attacked with machine-guns and rockets a position manned by Israeli soldiers and their allied militia. The resistance said in a statement that the attacks resulted in direct hits on the position.

Israeli artillery bombarded al Nabatiyeh al-Fouka, damaging several houses. An Israeli artillery shell dropped Monday at dawn near the major entrance of the Irish unit center working within UNIFIL troops in Shouf area. A UNIFIL officer declared that his troops had strongly protested to Israeli troops.

The Lebanese resistance said in a released statement that the number of the operations it carried out during last month reached 92, bringing the number of resistance operations since the beginning of this year up to 793. The statement added the number of the Israeli troops killed this year reached 45 and the number of those who were wounded is 100.
