Egypt and Israel were urged by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons to sign a convention for the elimination of chemical weapons by 2007, Nando Times reported. Lebanon, Libya, Sudan and Syria's cooperation was also called crucial to achieving the goal.
